Hello lovely ladies,
It's the time of the month of reflection of all the things I have adored over the past 31 days of July. Although this post is a few days delayed, I hope it gives you some insight into some products you may not have tried before and sparks interest in trying items that have been my loves of July. Without further or do, lets jump straight into it :)
(1) Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturising Cream
(1) Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturising Cream
This product has been my saviour in the month of July. No surprise, Melbourne weather has got me again! The winter weather tends to make my skin irritated and itchy and after trying various products on the market, this one has been of used continuously this past month. The moisturiser contains menthol which has a cooling and relaxing effect on the skin to soothe it from irritation. The cream itself is extremely moisturising and the moisture is locked into the skin for days! Although it may be sticky after applying, it is well worth it for the smoothness it leaves. Whether you're currently in Summer or Winter, this cream has got you covered as its cooling for Summer and moisturising for the dry, cold Winters.
(2) Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara
This mascara is one that I've had in my collection for a while but is not something I'd usually reach for. Having short, sparse eyelashes myself, it is difficult to use this mascara wand as it is too large for my eye shape. However, in the past month, I've been using this as a top coat of mascara over my regular mascara. This mascara gives my lashes a defined, fluttery look to my lashes and is not too difficult to apply, especially after applying a lengthening mascara prior to this one.
(3) Revlon Nail Polish "Eclectic"
This color has by far been my favourite, most used polish this past month. When I first came across this color, I really did not expect to buy it, nor like it. After applying the color, it grew on me quickly as it is a neutral green which isn't too bright. It's perfect for having a touch of color in the winter! Usually I am very wary of having mismatched nails to my outfits, however, this color is super wearable as it doesn't steal away the attention of the outfit. I have reapplied this color three times in July which says a lot about how much I love this shade!
(4) Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer
This product has been a bit of a rediscovery for me this July. I used to use this religiously, however, stopped after reaching for alternatives. This concealer is definitely back into my routine. The highlight really cancels out dark under eye circles and makes me look more awake on early Winter mornings. I like to use my fingers to pat the concealer in after applying with the applicator to give a more flawless, natural look.

(Mine has been used so much the writing has faded too! haha)
(5) Natio Blush Set
This next product is also a rediscovery, in fact, this is the first blush I ever purchased! I'm not too sure if it's still available to purchase, however, do check your local retailers that stock Natio (eg. Myer, David Jones in AUST). There are 4 beautiful shades of blush, all with hints of shimmer but not overpowering. This blush kit is perfect for travelling with, with 4 different options, lighter shades and darker shades of blush. It even comes with a mini brush for handy use.
(6) Australis Color Inject Lipstick in Flamingo
This lipstick is definitely a nice, vibrant color to brighten up the cold Winter days. I've particularly been loving wearing this bright pink lipstick with navy blue clothing. I think the contrast is beautiful and helps awaken the face.
(7) Chunky Scarves
Scarves are essential for the Winter for me. They add so much more warmth and complete the outfit at the same time. I've been loving this chunky, navy blue scarf. It's super warm and extremely versatile as it can be paired with pretty much any outfit.
(8) Stripes
This favourite is a little broad but more specifically, I've been living in stripe long sleeves! Stripes are so universal; you can wear them anytime, anywhere and are such a timeless piece. My favourite two stripe tops this July have been a grey and white one and a navy and white one. Paired with a pair of jeans, a coat, a scarf and a pair of boots and I am good to go!
(9) Decjuba Sunglasses
Last but not least, I have been obsessed with these tortoise shell sunglasses from Decjuba this Winter. I know Melbourne is extremely cold at the moment, however, on those sunny days, I love to whip out a pair of sunnies to pair with my Winter outfits. These glasses are super comfortable to wear and add warmth to the outfit with the brown tortoise shell look.
That is all for my July Favourites post ladies! :)
As per usual, I hope this post finds you well and you are inspired to try some different products on the market.
Take Care,
Leonie x
