REVIEW: Clinique Products I Haven't Tried

Another new member to my collection is this Anti-Blemish Solutions Clearing Gel.  I am not usually prone to breakout but get a couple here and there.  I tried this one last week and it's safe to say it significantly reduced the size of my pimple overnight.  Definitely would recommend!!



 
This Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Milk was by far my most exciting product to try.  I typically use a Micellar Cleansing Water to remove makeup but have not tried a milk before.  This felt super luxurious on the skin without any harsh swiping movements to get makeup off.  After removing, I followed with my cleanser.

Hello lovely ladies, 

Quite often I dedicate a lot of my Instagram posts to makeup but today I wanted to shift the focus to my skincare routine; or as I like to say, the "behind the scenes" of the makeup.  I am a strong believer that "good skin can be created" and that clean skin is the perfect canvas for makeup application.

Generally speaking, my skin can has phases of ups and downs.  In Summer, it's oily and in Winter it's quite dry. But regardless of how it is, I always stick to an appropriate 3 Step system for the current skin type that I am.

During Summer I use a Dry Combination 3 Step System and during Winter I use a Very Dry 3 Step System.

The steps are simple, just follow along :) ...

STEP 1: Firstly, I use my Clinique Extra Mild Liquid Facial Soap to cleanse my face and remove any dirt and oil on the skin.  In the mornings, I just use my bare hands; and at night I use my Clinique Sonic Brush for a deeper cleanse.

STEP 2: After I've cleansed and pat-dried my face, I move onto my Clinique Clarifying Lotion. This is a gentle liquid exfoliant that removes dead skin cells on the surface of the skin. (I apply this one with a cotton pad.)  Now this is usually the one I change dependent on my skin type.  Currently I've been using Skin Type 2 for the Summer time here in Melbourne.
(Usually when the weather is cold and my skin tends to get dry, I opt for Clarifying Lotion 1.0.)

STEP 3: Lastly, I use Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel to replenish moisture and hydration into the skin.  This is great to help absorb in any treatment products (serum, treatment moisturiser) that are applied afterwards.
