The Perfect Purple Polish

Recently I have been on the hunt for the perfect purple nail polish. When I came across Essence's 174 Purple Sugar, I knew it was what I had been looking for; however, I had my doubts about the formula of the polish as it was quite inexpensive.
To my surprise, the formula was better than I imagined and this called for a blogpost!

Firstly, the color is such a beautiful Spring- Summer shade. Applying two coats was enough and gave great pigmentation without any streaks.
Secondly, the polish dried very quickly in comparison to some of the other brands I own. For a couple of dollars, I was not expecting the formula to be fantastic; however, the polish dried very quickly and left my nails looking extra shiny.

(NB: I also used my Sally Hansen base coat before applying the Essence nail polish for smooth application.)
Overall, I am very impressed with this nail polish and will definitely be back to try some of the other colors they have to offer :)
