Comfy and Chic

Hello lovely ladies,

Looking good without tight, restraining or stiff clothing is the ultimate dream for me, especially if I'm going to be indulging in a large, delicious meal haha.

Today's OOTD will be focusing on clothing that feels as if you're lounging at home whilst still looking chic and stylish.

Feeling comfortable in your clothes is one of the most important criteria when picking an OOTD (Outfit of the Day).  The last thing we want is poor comfort levels ruining a good day ahead of us.

For this outfit, I've opted for a pair of loose printed pants with a grey T-shirt.  Topping the outfit off with a statement necklace, a pair of cat-eye sunglasses and a large floppy hat makes this outfit stand out in a crowd.  The high heels are optional, if you're going somewhere fancy, high heels will not only boost your confidence but will also give some height, elongating the body.

The spotlight of this outfit is definitely the printed pants.  Although they are monochrome, the geometric pattern gives a unique sense of style and draws attention to the legs.  The best thing about these pants is that they are made of elastic at the waistband and are tightened with a drawstring, giving room to adjust the fitting throughout the day/night.

By tucking the side of the grey T-shirt in, it gives an effortless and casual touch to the look.  Having a solid color T-shirt is suggested with this outfit as we want to leave most of the attention on the bottom half of the body.

The black floppy hat and the black and white strappy heels balance each other out as they are at opposite sides of the body (top and bottom).

With this outfit, I teamed it with a large, silver-toned statement necklace to compliment the grey T-shirt and the overall monochrome theme.

This combination is definitely minimal and simple.  As they always say, "less is more".  Having a clutter-free outfit leaves the pants as the focal point and adds a sense of clarity and cleanness to the outfit.

For some of you, comfort may be in slouchy loose clothing; and for others it may be wearing heels and a nice dress.  Whatever that may be, being in comfortable attire will definitely show your true self and self confidence.

As per usual, I hope this post finds you well and gives you some useful tips on styling printed pants whilst keeping optimal comfort.

Take Care,
         Leonie x.
